Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.
Have you ever known someone that you loved deeply, and watched as their heart was broken. Maybe a grandparent who lost their spouse, or someone who got divorced. It is part of humanity to crave connection and love, and when we see someone who has lost that connection, it's natural to want them to be able to find love again. Many times, it's hard to resist trying to be a matchmaker in an effort to find that perfect someone for your loved one.
Pure Flix just released a movie about love after loss. Many of the themes are relatable because love and loss are so prevalent. Other themes throughout this movie are comedy, friendship and hope. Christmas may be over, which means fewer "feel-good" movies, but that doesn't stop Pure Flix. They are constantly releasing new shows.
From the very beginning, the character Elise, felt so relatable. She comes across as the grandma anyone would love to have. Her grandson is a goofball who the viewer can't help loving. And their journey together is one of growth.
Starring Karen Abercrombie (who plays Elise) and Charlene Tilton, "Heaven Sent" is a movie that the whole family can watch. As always, as a Pure Flix film it is clean, and wholesome. Watch the trailer here, or go log in to Pure Flix and watch the whole movie!
