We go through a lot of Popsicle sticks in our house. They are so affordable and versatile! Plus, they are easy for little hands to work with. These snowflakes were a breeze for my boys to make and they needed very little help from me.
First, we colored our Popsicle sticks. My 7 year old colored his solid colors, while my 5 year old and I made designs on ours.
Then we glued the sticks together.
We put glue on the snowflakes and sprinkled glitter on top.
Then we glued pom poms on the ends. Buttons or stickers would also be super cute here!
We let the snowflakes dry, then we glued some thread on the back to hang them up.
We chose to hang ours on our Christmas tree, but these look great on the wall or hanging in a window all winter long!
