We are all for quick, affordable crafts that are easy for kids to make...and an even better bonus is if they're recycled! I had fun whipping up a snowman ornament out of a milk jug last year...
I used different sized spice containers to trace three circles on one of the flat panels of a milk jug. I cut those out and traced around the edges with black permanent marker to give it some contrast.
I used a small hole punch to punch holes in the top and bottom of each circle (except the bottom circle which only has a hole in the top).
Draw a face and buttons on your snowman using permanent markers.
I used jump rings (for jewelry) to join the circles together but you could use ribbon or yarn or thread.
Tie a string in the top to hang up your ornament.
