Using items found in nature to beautify my home is so much fun! I wanted to make a fun centerpiece for my table during the Christmas season, and was able to find almost everything I need in my backyard for this Pine cone Christmas Tree Craft:
To make this, you will need some pine cones, a few wood slices (or you can make your own from a large stick in your backyard), hot glue gun, glitter glue gun sticks, and something yellow/gold for the stars (I used gold duct tape).
Cut your wood slices if you don't have some pre-cut. Sand them.
Sand the bottom of the pine cones if they aren't very flat.
Glue the pine cones to the wood slices.
Add some drops of glitter glue on the "branches" of your pine cone trees. If you don't have glitter glue, you could glue on colorful pom poms or other fun little ornaments.
Make a star for each tree and glue it on.
I glued the three wood slices together.
And, done!
Thank you for the inspiration. I'll be linking up to Wonderful Wednesday, Homemaking Link Party, Homemaking Party, Homestead Blog Hop,
