My Little Pony Carousel Cake

When I was planning my daughter's birthday cake, she was very into My Little Ponies, so I thought a carousel with My Little Ponies was only fitting!

This cake was so quick to make, and she loved it!


I baked two round cakes and layered them. Then I frosted it with white frosting and decorated with purple piping and pink skittles.

I used popsicle sticks for the poles and printed out this pinwheel on cardstock:

I cut out the pinwheel and glued it into a cone by overlapping the two white sections. I hot glued the top to the sticks and pushed it into the cake.

Then I added the ponies and had a very happy 4 year old!
