Thankfully, my kids have never been prone to ear infections...they've had maybe one or two in my 10 years of parenting. But, if they ever do have one (or if I have another!), I know exactly what I will be reaching for to ease their pain...ClearPop! I can't even express how much I wish these had been around when I was little.
What are ClearPops? Read on dear friends!
- ClearPop is basically a sucker shaped like the oral cavity. When sucked on, it uses negative pressure to help drain the blockage into the mouth.
- Less pressure=less pain for your little ones.
- ClearPop has a lemon flavor and is made with Xylitol which can reduce Acute Ottis Media by 25%. The lemon flavor also encourages saliva production which helps the Eustachian tube to drain.
- These pops have a safety handle to eliminate choking risks. The sick is shatterproof and flexible.
- In a clinical study, ClearPops were shown to reduce pain from earaches in 9 out of 10 cases and eliminated it in 7 out of 10.

I hate when my ears are clog and I hear rice crispy in my ears.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had any earache experiences yet, but we are planning on taking our kids on their first flight and these would be great!
ReplyDeleteThat's brilliant!
Deletethe worst was when my dog got an ear infection the night before I was supposed to go out of town. Yikes. (and no ear meds in the house either)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter, when just a baby, started fussing one night then developed a fever. She cried continuously. I sat up all nite rocking her. I felt so sad for her.
ReplyDeletePoor thing...those long nights are so hard.
DeleteI haven't had one that I recall but one of my kids had had a double ear infection, poor kid. My kids don't get them often though so we are lucky. Would be great to have these on hand though!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if it was an ear infection or what, but when we were little my sister's eardrum burst. It was incredably painful for her and I hope no one else has to go through that ever.
ReplyDeleteOuch! That sounds awful.
DeleteMy oldest son was rushed to the ER while I was working an hour away without knowing what was wrong. He never cried and had been screaming for hours. It was a bad ear infection in both ears. I've never been so scared and then so relieved.
ReplyDeleteHow terrifying. I'm so glad it wasn't worse.
DeleteI had the worst ear infection one summer and it got so bad that I couldn't hear out of my ear. I should have gone to the doctor sooner but I ended up having to wait until Monday morning to go for a walk-in appointment because it got so terrible over the weekend when my doctors office was closed! I was there fifteen minutes before they opened because I needed to feel better so badly!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...after my last one a couple years ago, I couldn't hear out of my right ear for weeks. It's mind-boggling how painful ear infections really are.
DeleteMy grandson suffers from terribe ear aches. He has had tube b in but still has them from time to time. I know when I have an ear ache it makes me feel terrible.
ReplyDeletePoor little guy. I hope he grows out of those ear aches soon.
DeleteMy worst was when I was a kid.I remember writhing around in pain and screaming because I had an ear infection. My mom came in and freaked out a little because there was blood on my pillow. My ear drum had ruptured! No wonder it had hurt so much.Unfortunately that wasn't the last time it happened.I still get them and my ear drum ruptured again last year.So painful! I wish I had known about these! (Courtney Hennagir on rafflecopter.)
ReplyDeleteOuch! I've never had my ear drum rupture, but it sounds incredibly painful.
DeleteThankfully, I've only had one ear infection. It was not pleasant for me, so I can imagine how bad it is for the little ones!
ReplyDeleteWHEN I WAS A CHILD I WAS 8 YEARS OLD
ReplyDeleteWhen my first daughter was an infant, I sat up with her all night crying right along with her. I thought she was dying. I never dreamed it was an ear infection.
ReplyDeletemy oldest son on his 10th birthday had to miss his own birthday party cause he woke up crying with both ears hurting so he spent the day in the ER with swimmers ear in both ears :(
ReplyDeletePoor guy!
Deleteat 3 months old i took my daughter in for a well check- low and behold, 2 raging ear infections- I had no idea and felt like a horrible mom. Needless to say, they continued and she wound up getting ear tubes at 18 months! She still got ear infections, but at least i would know as I would see the drainage. My youngest just got ear tubes last week, these would really be helpful to our family!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how some kids can handle pain so well. I hope your little ones grow out of those ear infections soon.
DeleteOne of my daughters got an ear infection every time she got a tooth...Baby teeth and adult teeth including wisdom teeth. She had tube put in her ears twice and they had to be removed twice. Unfortunately, her 1 year old daughter is following the same path.
ReplyDeleteHow awful! That's a lot of ear infections :(
