Snuggle your little ones with Huggies

Prior to July, my husband and I had been out of the diaper game for a few years. It was a lovely break, and now that I am back into full-on diaper mode with our daughter, it's nice to feel a bit more experienced this time around. With my oldest, I used to have to take his socks off at each diaper change because he would inevitably kick the dirty diaper and require new socks as well. Now, I feel confident in leaving baby girl's socks on throughout the diaper change without her kicking the dirty diaper.


That's not to say I haven't had my ups and downs with diaper duty. The newborn days were rough, going through 3-4 diapers in one diaper change sometimes, because the new diapers would get soiled before I could fasten them.

Since my daughter was born, we have tried several different diaper brands, and I can honestly say that Huggies Little Snugglers has been our favorite by far! They out-perform other diapers and have worked well for our family. Some of the features are:

• The wetness indicator which allows me to quickly see if the diaper is wet without having to try to peek inside or take the diaper off completely. 
• My husband is a fan of the "blow-out-flap" as he calls it, which lines the sides of the diaper (you can see my thumb on it in the picture below). 
• For newborns, there is a cut-out where the umbilical cord stump is to protect as it dries.
• The inside looks like soft little pillows to help baby's bottom stay comfy.  This GentleAbsorb Liner helps draw moisture/mess away from baby's delicate skin.
• The back waistband is elastic which helps prevent blow-outs up baby's back.

I was able to go to target.com to purchase my diapers shortly before my baby was born. I loved that I didn't have to go into a store to buy them while I was hugely pregnant, and it's nice that mothers with newborns don't have to run to the store to stock up on diapers.  Moms can add these diapers to their baby registries on Target's website to make gift-giving easier as well.
