General Conference Bingo

Every six months, our church-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- has a broadcast called General Conference where we get to hear from the leaders of our church. We are able to watch it online and my boys get very excited for these weekends (the first weekend of April & October). To help them get involved and listen, we had a lot of success playing General Conference Bingo.

All I did was draw a Bingo chart and put common words or phrases in each square. I thought my 5 year old would be bored or have a rough time, but both of my boys loved it and did such a good job filling out their Bingo charts! The words I used were: Jesus, Church, Prophet, Pray, Temple, God, Heavenly Father, Christ, Joseph Smith, Love, Book of Mormon, Thomas S Monson, Disciple, Angels, Scriptures, Commandments, Apostles, and Believe.

When they heard their key words, they got to put a candy on that square, and when they got a Bingo, they got to eat those candies.

We will be watching General Conference this weekend on BYU TV at 10:00 AM MST, 2:00 PM MST on Saturday and Sunday!
