Slice Review

Recently I received the Slice Safety Cutter to review and the first thing I thought when I opened the product was “wow this thing is tiny”…as you can see in the picture it’s easily smaller than my hand and small enough to fit in my pocket or on a keychain.Slice Safety Cutter

Once I opened the Safety Cutter, I loved the rubbery grip on the product and how it does not slide around in my hand while I am using it. The cutter fits nicely in the palm of my hand and is quite comfortable to use.

My favorite use so far for my cutter is clipping coupons. It’s quick, fairly precise once you get used to it and it doesn’t make my hand cramp up the way scissors do. I also really like the built in magnet because, if I didn’t keep it on my fridge, I’m sure I would lose it.

My one complaint is that you always have to have something underneath whatever you are cutting such as a cutting board or several layers of paper so you don’t damage any surfaces because the cutter will go through 2-3 layers of paper easily. EDIT (10/11/12) I don’t know if my cutter was dropped but it seems to be getting duller and less able to cut through paper as I use it more.

I’m excited to use my new Slice Safety Cutter during the upcoming holidays because I am convinced it will make gift wrapping incredibly easier. Overall, I am very pleased with my little cutter and use it regularly.

Also, a portion of every sale at Slice funds Autism research! Disclosure: I received a Slice Safety Cutter in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are my own.
