Sweeten life with Nectresse

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NECTRESSE™Sweetener for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I admit it, I have a major sweet tooth...we go through cookies ridiculously fast in our house. I don't know that I could ever willingly give up sugar. I've tried substituting sugar with honey or other sweeteners but they just aren't the same. However, if the day were to come that I HAD to cut down on sugar for whatever reason, it's good to know that I have options out there.

NECTRESSE™Sweetener from Splenda is a 100% natural sweetener made from monk fuit extract. I received a sample of Nectresse for the purpose of this review and was asked to try it out in a recipe or two. I found that the easiest way to substitute Nectresse for sugar was in the things I eat regularly that don't require a lot of sugar. One of those things was smoothies...

In the summer, we LOVE smoothies because of how tasty and simple they are...plus they are cold and an easy way to get fruit. For our smoothies, I add frozen fruit, a few spoonfuls of yogurt, milk and a few teaspoons of sugar in the blender. I tried the Nectresse instead of sugar and could not tell a difference. I really like that with certain things, replacing sugar and all those calories is really that simple...just put Nectresse in instead.

Lisa Ling is the Nectresse spokeswoman and you can find out why in the video below:

You can buy Nectreese in convenient packets or larger canisters in many grocery stores, drug stores and online. You can also request a FREE sample of NECTRESSE™Sweetener.

  1. That looks delish! We love smoothies too.. I've never used substitute sweeteners because of the strange taste.
