When we moved, we got an amazing assortment of large boxes and I saved all of them until I had a chance to make this:
K & C had so much fun in their little castle. It was hilarious listening to the two of them interact. K was naturally the king since he’s bigger and since C is smaller, he had to be the queen.
My favorite part was the dungeon for bad guys (though K insisted on a back door so the bad guys could come out and say sorry for the things they had done)…
There was also a drawbridge…
Each of the walls interlocked with the towers…
There were doors in each of the towers which became bedrooms…
And little windows in each tower for security purposes…
The castle lasted through wind and rain for weeks and K would insist on eating breakfast in his castle many of those days :). Behold your kingdom my son!

What an awesome castle!! I love that it all connected together so it didn't keep falling down!

Cool!!!!! I don't know if I have the patience.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!! I used to make cardboard castles all the time when I was little (not anywhere near this intricate, though). My favorite part about the castles growing up was that they always had a draw bridge :). My favorite part about this one is the back door for the criminals! One of my favorite blogs is called allfortheboys.com. Every Friday is Fort Friday! You should definitely email this to her! I'd bet she would feature it!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, that is super creative! We're moving soon and I just might have to copy this idea!
