Now that my son is in school and we are becoming more and more active/busy, I am realizing how critical it is to have healthy, quick snacks to grab on the go...and we're not even to the "soccer mom" stage of life yet! I almost always have some sort of granola bar in the diaper bag in case I, or my son need a quick pick-me-up. New Quaker Soft Baked Bars sound like just the thing I need when I'm in a hurry. Not only are they a quick snack, but these bars and a wholesome food and actually sound healthy with fruits and nuts. You can choose between cinnamon pecan bread or banana nut bread as your flavor options.
These Quaker bars would be a great breakfast snack and are packed with 140 calories, 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, and are an excellent source of 5 B-vitamins. I think I would enjoy the cinnamon pecan bread bars. I'm pretty sure my 5 year old would love both of the flavors available, as would my husband. I also think it's neat that the Quaker Soft Baked Bars can be warmed up in the microwave for a bakery style breakfast.
Which flavor do you think you would like?
