Slim-Fast's New Shakes

With those memories in mind I was kind of excited to review the new Slim-Fast shakes which are said to taste better than ever. Coupon in hand, I set out going up and down the grocery aisles at Wal-Mart only to find out that Slim-Fast products are in the pharmacy section...call me silly but I seriously thought I would find them in the grocery section of the store! I chose to review the Rich Chocolate Royale shake.

The next morning I tried my first shake and it tasted just as I remember Slim-Fast tasting when I was younger...a little grainy and not quite as good as chocolate milk, but it was good enough that I kept going back for more until it was all gone :). I have a fast metabolism but the shake was enough to last a few hours before I really started wanting more food. I can easily see how this shake could sustain someone for the 4 hours that the packaging says it can.
