I have been seeing peanut butter play dough on several blogs and knew it was something my 4 year old would love…sure enough, he adored the whole process of making it, playing with it and eating it! He kept begging me to let his play dough be his dinner :). After hunting for the perfect recipe I settled on the one from Make and Takes. Warning-this is excessively sweet but your children will LOVE IT!
All you need to make your own play dough is:
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy of course!)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Mix them all together, make fun shapes with them, and when you’re done, store them in an airtight container or Ziploc bag with the excess air squeezed out in the refrigerator.
Once it’s been in the fridge, each time you or your child wants to play with it, it will need to warm up a bit, but it certainly is fun to play with your food for once :).

Awe. My daughter is allergic to peanuts. Maybe we'll do flour. Thanks for sharing looks so fun.
