I cannot believe how many standardized tests high school students have to take nowadays…my younger sister is always taking them or home from school because other poor souls are taking them. I really do not understand why so many exams are required, but I suppose one good aspect of taking a million exams by the time you graduate is that you’re slightly more prepared for the SAT and ACT.
I really believe that for a lot of students (especially ones that struggle with standardized tests) practice makes perfect, or at least greatly improved. More and more programs, such as StudyPoint, are established to help students do better on exams that will literally affect the rest of their lives. I used to scoff at programs like these, but it just might be worth it for some students.
