Rag Heart Wreath

During the Christmas season I saw so many adorable hand-made wreaths that I talked my husband into buying a wreath hanger so I could make some too. I did, just a month or so after Christmas :) DSCN4828

These are simple and dirt cheap to make because all you need is a wire hanger and rags.

  1. Untwist the hanger and reshape it into a heart.DSCN4824
  2. Cut tons of rags…I just used white and red, but pink would look cute too.DSCN4826
  3. Tie the rags onto the hanger in any pattern you desire. I tied them in a single knot and pushed them all together so there weren’t any gaps.DSCN4825
  4. Keep tying, and tying, and tying until the hanger is completely covered and hang up your adorable and affordable wreath!DSCN4829

  1. That is soooo cute! I will have to try this. A great way to 'fancy up' the front door for pennies!! That's my kind of decorating! Have a great week!

  2. What a cute idea making it into a heart shape! I am going to have to look through fabric scraps and see what I can do! (I know I have some leftover pink from doing Patrick Star!)
