Last week, I mentioned the Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics. My husband took K on Saturday and he absolutely loved it! He did need help with hammering, but was so proud of his catapult when he got home. My husband said there were kids there from ages 3 to around 10 or 11. The place was packed, so you really should register beforehand if you want to take your kids.
K got a cute apron to wear. When he finished the catapult he got a patch and certificate. My husband liked it enough that he said he’s willing to take K again! I am so impressed with the clinics. They are free and offer so much. I highly encourage anyone with little children to try it out!
I felt like I had my own little cub scout as I sewed his patch onto his apron.
This weekend they are building a car, so if your little one loves cars, jump on this!
What a neat and fun thing that the kids get to do. I wish we had a Lowes, or even kived close to one, but we don't.

Your boys are so cute!
OKay, this is now on my must do list! Thanks for sharing this!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so awesome! Too bad my little one's not any older!
ReplyDeleteThese free clinics are so much fun. We used to take our kids when they were younger. They loved pretending they were Bob the Builder when they got home and helping Daddy around the house.
