Manners Songs

K has been a little ornery lately regarding manners, especially saying please.

For family night, my husband found the site Preschool Education with a list of songs about manners. Since the songs are to familiar children's tunes, K loved it! He begged for more and after each song we would review what the song talked about.

The next day, K was more than willing to say please, and I truly think it is because we were able to present manners to him in an exciting, entertaining way. He still had to be reminded to say please, but he would respond instantly with "Please, please, please! I want some juice!"

I'm so grateful my husband thought to look those songs up. Sometimes it takes other minds to come up with a good solution and this was definitely the case.
