Hot Prints Photo Book

http://www.hotprints.com/hotPrintsLogo.png
Hot Prints is an online photo site that offers a free photo book every month! The photo books are about 16 pages long, and because they are free, they have removable ad inserts which pull right out.I thought it would be fun for K to have his own photo book, and since it's free, I knew I wouldn't have to stress about it getting ruined. If so, I can go print another one!

To make the book more exciting for K than just photos, I used Wikimedia Commons to search for pictures with any form of transportation, and edited K's picture into them. Wikimedia Commons has thousands of pictures that are not copyrighted, and can be used by anyone.I guess it's kind of like a Where's Waldo book. It ended up being pictures of places K likes to go, and his favorite ways to get there. My husband was super patient with me as he taught me how to use paint.net to photoshop K into the pictures. They certainly wouldn't fool Hollywood, but I think the book turned out pretty cute.

I'm giving this to K for his birthday in a couple of weeks, but every time he saw a picture of him on a bus or with a tractor on our computer he would get so excited, so I'm hoping he will love this book.

I'm linking up to Tea Rose Home and Trendy Treehouse.
