Construction Cake

I just wanted to show off the cake I made for K's third birthday on Wednesday:This was probably the easiest cake I've ever decorated because wherever a dump truck is driving, it's not supposed to look nice. K loved it and wanted to drive the little dump truck all over the cake.
Happy birthday K!Does it ever stop feeling so weird to be the mother of a child who is x years old? I cannot believe I am old enough to be the mom to a 3 year old!

    Try being a mom of a 23 yr old. I can't believe that Melissa and most of her friends are in their 20's somethings. Looks like your children love their adventures.

    So cute! I'm planning a construction theme birthday party for my boys and may have to borrow this idea.

    I have a hard time believing that I've been a mom for half of my married life!
